It’s not a secret anymore that Bangkok has one of the hottest and wild nightlife scenes in the whole of Southeast Asia. There are many categories to enjoy your self in this city from the wild clubs to the subdued jazz bars. The amazing thing from Bangkok is you don’t need to dress up, and you won’t break the bank because the entire price isn’t very expensive in here.

Certainly all areas of Bangkok are teeming with plenty of normal night clubs, from the super fancy, catering to the wealthiest of Thai and foreigners, to the more humble club catering to the other end of the spectrum. A lot of bars selling drink (mostly beer) and there are music and bar girls to chat and entertain you. Most dance clubs open around 9PM. If you want to have a really good time though, you should arrive a little later. Most of the clubs in Bangkok are pretty affordable, which is a very good thing and will enable you to visit more of them.

If you’re a person who loves the nightlife, then you’ll love visiting Bangkok. If it is so you need looking for a hotel that fit with your need. I have been traveling to Thailand for business and vacation for many years. Most of the hotels I recommend here I have stayed in myself. Some of this list from my friend experience.

1. Majestic Grande Hotel Bangkok

Located on 200 m from popular and bustling Sukhumvit Road, the Majestic Grande Hotel in Bangkok is known for its warm atmosphere and congenial hospitality. The most important thing is the hotel placed near the entertainment center. For the price and location, it is an excellent hotel with the fair price. The rate is $94 per night includes taxes and breakfast.

2. Grand President Executive Serviced Apartments Bangkok

The hotel staff is excellent, the location is perfect and the pricing is great. A little secret about this hotel, this hotel does not charge extra for taking a lady back to room. Besides that fact this hotels is good because the rooms are well kept and service from the employee was good. The rate is $64 per night includes taxes and breakfast.

3. Ambassador Hotel Bangkok

The price is good but the facilities and the room quite old but I hope that didn’t bother you at all because there is just so many bars, clubs and go-go bars around you that every night you won’t be bored. All within just less then a block away. The rate is $64 per night includes taxes and breakfast.

Mount Bromo is an active volcano in the Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park of East Java, Indonesia. Although Bromo isn’t the highest mountain in Java but it’s probably the most famous one. The fact is Bromo is only one of many peaks inside the massive Tengger Caldera, but it’s easily recognized as the entire top has been blown off and the crater inside constantly belches white sulphurous smoke.

Bromo can be accessed from Cemoro Lawang at the northeast edge, but there are also trails from Tosari (northwest) and Ngadas (west). The nearest major airport is in Surabaya called Juanda International Airport, take a ‘Damri’ shuttle bus from the Juanda International Airport in Surabaya to go to the Bungurasih bus terminal(terminal Purabaya) and then you can continue by bus to Probolinggo from Bungurasih bus station. After 3 or 4 hours, you can continue to Cemoro Lawang by car.

I suggest you to go to Bromo at the morning (from Surabaya) and spend the night on Cemoro Lawang and then catch the sunrise tomorrow morning at Mount Penanjakan. There are plenty of accommodation options around the mountain. Facilities at Cemoro Lawang side of the caldera are rather basic, but there are good hotels in Sukapura and Probolinggo. For your pleasant, I suggest you to spend the night at Cemoro Indah Hotel, It has a nice view of Mount Bromo from your room and provide hot water. You can sit down in its restaurant and view the Mount Bromo directly.

When timing any activities in the area, bear in mind that sunset is soon after 5 PM and sunrise is correspondingly early at around 5:30 AM. This means you’ll usually need to get up by 3:30 AM or so to get there in time for dawn.

Mount Batok (2440m) is a brown volcanic cone at the north center of the caldera. Unlike the other nearby peaks it is no longer active and actually has some vegetation growing on it, mostly the local cemara tree that somehow manages to survive even on volcanic ash.

Mount Bromo, edges tinged with white sulphur and always bubbling, is the main sight. To reach it on foot, pick the left fork at Cemoro Lawang’s solitary crossing, then head down the ramp into the caldera and then across the caldera to the Hindu temple at the foot of the mountain. From the temple a steep path of 250 steps leads to the edge of the crater and a precarious meter-wide ledge from where to gaze into the volcano. Beware of local jeep-hirers, who often try to persuade tourists the journey to the mountain is not walking distance (in order to hire them jeeps, or horses). The walk from the tourist centre to the top of the mountain should take no longer than 1.5 hours by foot, and is about 3km.

Mount Penanjakan (2770m), located just north of the caldera, is a mountaintop viewpoint accessible by paved road from Tosari and hence popular with jeeps and even tour buses. Most of the crowd comes to see the dawn at 5 AM, and you’ll likely have the large concrete observation post to yourself if you arrive later in the day.

Viewpoint #2, along the trail from Cemoro Lawang to Mt. Penanjakan, is an excellent way to get a stunning view of the caldera without the crowds. To reach it, head west from Cemoro Lawang (past Cemero Indah) for 6 km, past farms and fields. The paved road eventually turns into a twisty mountain trail that ends with a flight of stairs on the right, and the viewpoint (with concrete shelter) is at the top. Allow 1.5 hours for the climb up at a steady pace, and bring along a torch if attempting this at night.

From here, you can continue into Mt. Penanjakan by following the trail upward, after which the trail merges onto the paved road to the viewpoint (total time about 60 minutes one way). If planning to return the same way, mark the spot where the trail emerges onto the road (if you pass a stone lantern on the way down, you’ve gone too far!), and note that descending on this section can get slippery due to loose sand and rocks.

Visiting Alaska by cruise ship has become one of the most popular ways to experience Alaska’s breathtaking beauty and diverse culture. Cruises incorporate all that Alaska has to offer including glaciers, wildlife, exotic ports of call, entertainment and fine dining.

Some of the most popular Alaskan cruises are glacier cruises. Much of the Alaskan terrain consists of gorgeous, formidable glaciers and ice fields which cover over 5% of Alaska’s land surface. This natural beauty can be seen from many top tourist destinations of Alaska including Juneau, Valdez, Seward and the Matanuska Valley, but is usually only fully appreciated with an up close and personal view that only a cruise can afford. From this vantage point you will stand spellbound by tidewater glaciers that reach over 100 ft. in height and the antics of wildlife such as humpback whales, orcas, sea lions, dolphins, brown bears and bald eagles.

The Gulf of Alaska is also a popular cruise option. Many cruise lines offer week-long cruises from Seward to Vancouver or vice versa. Along the way you can take in such highlights as Glacier Bay National Park, College Fjord and interesting ports of call including Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan. At each port you can take advantage of unique and exciting land activities such as helicopter glacier landing, guided tours, and sightseeing, just to name a few.

Because of the awe-inspiring beauty of the Alaskan inside passage and since many destinations along the Alaska inside passage are only accessible by plane or boat, these cruises have become one of the most popular tourist attractions of the state. From the waterway of the passage, one can look upon some of the most magnificent natural scenery to be found such as coastal rainforests, deep blue fjords and tidewater glaciers. Also to be found in the passage are numerous species of wildlife including humpback whales, sea lions and seabirds.

Some Alaska cruise liners even incorporate land packages as part of their cruise options. With an optional land package, visitors can spend an additional five to seven days exploring all that Alaska has to offer from land. You can explore one of the many cities or national parks, take advantage of Alaska’s world-renowned sport fishing, or visit famous mining towns.

As you can see, there are many Alaska cruises to choose from, and each promise memories of adventure and excitement to last a lifetime. Which one is perfect for you? That is for you to decide.

A cruise to Europe has to be one of the best ideas. Europe is so big and spacious and it contains everything that you would ever want to see. Maybe you’d like to sail to Great Britain, but don’t forget to pop over to Ireland for a good time. Maybe you’d like to go deeper into culture. For those who want some more excitement from the unknown, a tour of Northern Europe is in order.

Northern Europe consists of Russia, Poland, and all of the other related cultures. You can feel right at home in these countries and you will love the atmosphere. Here in Northern Europe everyone is gracious and everything is so beautiful. In some parts of Northern Europe it will feel like you’ve stepped back in time because they seem so traditional. Time has not worn the area out. Not everything is new and it is a good place to learn about the struggles of the countries.

For those who are looking for a little more romance you may want to look into a cruise to Greece or Italy. The cultures that are found in these regions are still very strong and it is a great place because of the atmosphere. Everyone is happy; everyone will greet you as if you were family. They are very traditional and language is the language of romance. Greece has a lot of history, but Italy still builds history. There is something new and exciting about both areas and it would be lovely for a honeymoon.

Rather you want to see the culture and history of Greece or see snow in Russia or see some Brits, Europe has a lot to offer a couple or even singles. A cruise to Europe would be even nicer because you have plenty of time to get to know someone on the cruise. When you are on the cruise, you will want to find some friends to go around the cities or maybe a companion to share a hug with.

When you book a cruise, if you are single, you may want to think about taking a cruise specially for meeting someone. It couldn’t hurt because you still get to enjoy the many cites of Europe and you will get to experience a tour that contains history and romance. You just may find you’re happy ever after with someone on the tour or someone who you meet in the villages or cities.

When you are thinking about taking a cruise you should notify your travel agent and look online. Online you can find cruises and flights for discount rates so that you can afford to take a cruise anywhere your heart desires. You can also go online and research the regions that you are thinking about sailing to so that you can understand the culture more.

Zoos, safaris, museums, nature trails… Spain has a wide array of leisure and entertainment options for children that goes beyond the big theme parks that have sprung up over the last few years. In the last decade, more and more theme parks have been built in Spain, with Terra Mítica in Benidorm, Port Aventura in Tarragona, Isla Magica in Seville, Warner Bros Park in Madrid to name but just a few. At the same time however, a wide range of leisure activities has also come about, that focus more on contact with the environment and science than tall, twisting roller coasters. Of the many centers connected to nature in Spain, the most classic are the zoos, which allow children to see animals without leaving the city. The Zoo Aquarium in Madrid, one of the most important in the world, contains a dolphin tank, aquarium, a large aviary and a zoo with more than 500 species of animals, among which the koalas, the zoo’s latest acquisition, stand out. The Barcelona Zoo is still among the best in Europe, despite the loss of its most cherished symbol: “Copito de Nieve”, the only known white gorilla in the World.

In terms of aquariums, Spain boasts the largest one in Europe, the spectacular <a href=”L´Oceanografic located in the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias area of Valencia. It recently celebrated the first birth of a gray shark in captivity. Every Saturday, the Finisterrae Aquarium in A Coruña, as part of its Escuela de Científicos (school of scientists) program, invites children between the ages of 4 and 14 to do little research projects, which are accompanied by a delicious snack.

Another option available to children are the big nature parks such as Faunia, in Madrid, Selwo, on the Costa del Sol or Valwo, located 30 kilometers from Valladolid. The first of these, with a surface area of 140,000 square meters, reproduces the world’s major ecosystems, and also has an interesting nocturnal room, where you can observe nocturnal species without being seen. As for Selwo, it focuses a little bit more on adventure, and has two sites: one in Estepona, Spain dedicated to birds and land animals and the other in Benalmádena, which specializes in marine animals. In an enclosure inhabited by over 500 animal species from the seven continents, Valwo combines leisure activities with environmental education. Along the same lines, but giving a greater role to adventure, we find safaris, where animals are not caged and for which a car is essential. At the Safari Park in Aldea del Fresno, located an hour from Madrid, you can travel among elephants, rhinoceros, hippopotamus, giraffes and many other species.

However, if you would like for your children to see animals in their natural habitats, other possibilities include natural parks. Cuenca Alta del Manzanares, in La Pedriza (Madrid), organizes guided tours for children on weekends and holidays. Accompanied by guides, children learn how to identify different plant species, and discover the hiding places and habits of squirrels, griffon vultures, roe deer and more.

Further north in Villafáfila (Zamora), the Centro de Interpretación de la Naturaleza (Interpretive Center on Nature) provides organized visits to observe the rich variety of bird life present on the region’s lakes. Still further north, in Asturias, a fun option is the Senda del Oso, (Bear Trail), a pleasant route along an old railway line that stretches between the towns of San Andrés and Teverga. While traveling, on foot or on bicycle, one of the most beautiful regions of Asturias, children can meet “Paca” and “Tola”, the two brown bears that live in the area. Returning to the city, and in a more scientific vein, museums can also be the perfect way for children to have fun while they learn. A classic example is the Museum of Natural Science in Madrid, which periodically organizes activities to help the little ones keep abreast of the latest scientific discoveries. And in Valencia, the Science Museum Principe Felipe at the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias de Valencia offers El cielo de estrella, an audiovisual display in which children learn how to identify the major constellations.

The Atapuerca Archeological Park (Burgos) is a great place to learn about the origins of human beings, and suggests guided itineraries that recreate the fauna of the Pleistocene period, huts from the Paleolithic period and settlements of the Bronze Age. All to entertain and teach children about prehistory. Not far from there, in the provinces of Soria and La Rioja, there are a variety of routes that lead to archeological sites containing the remains and footprints of dinosaurs.

If you are planning a wedding in Las Vegas, you may want to consider getting married at Lake Mead. There are several options to choose from if you would like to get married at this famous man made lake.

Lake Mead Cruises offers wedding packages that take place aboard their Mississippi style paddlewheel boats. The Desert Princess is the larger of the two boats they have available. It features two enclosed decks and an open air deck. This boat can accommodate groups of up to 250. The Desert Princess Too is available for groups of 75 or less.

Ceremonies can be performed on the top deck of the boat with the beauty of Lake Mead creating the perfect setting for your wedding. Packages include a wedding cake, champagne toast, and up to three hours of cruise time on the lake. You can also purchase additional time if you want your reception to last longer. Some packages even include keepsake boarding photos which would make great wedding favors for your guests. Hors d’oeuvres or sit down dinner receptions can be arranged and several bar packages are offered. Their menu offers you the choice of salmon, chicken, prime rib, or pasta entrees which are accompanied with salad, bread, and side dishes such as rice pilaf and vegetables.

Lake Mead Cruises can help you arrange entertainment for your wedding. They also provide a list of vendors for the services that do not come with their packages such as the minister, florist, and photographer. Package prices are more expensive on Fridays and Saturdays.

Another option they offer, rather than chartering the whole boat for your wedding and reception, is to have the ceremony on the top deck prior to one of their scheduled cruises leaving. You can then pay the regular per person rate for you and your guests to join the cruise after the ceremony if you’d like. Champagne brunch, mid-day, early dinner, and dinner and dance cruises are all offered. Rates for this run about $20-$60 a person depending on the cruise and group discounts that are offered.

If you don’t want to get married on a boat, you can still enjoy the scenery of Lake Mead by getting married in a park in Boulder City that overlooks the lake. The-Wedding-Company.com is a Boulder City, Nevada based company that provides this wedding package. The package also comes with a bouquet and boutonniere, photography, transportation, music, wedding cake, and a minister to perform a civil, religious, or renewal ceremony.

Lake Mead is a fantastic place to have a wedding. It really is an oasis in the desert and is quite impressive when you consider that just decades ago, this enormous lake was nothing but desert.

Cruises. That word brings visions of sun, fun, food and maybe a hint of decadence. Now consider Mexico cruises… and add in the exotic, tropical, and a sense of the old world.

Mexico cruises come in a variety of shapes, forms and sizes. You can cruise the Pacific side of the country, or the Gulf of Mexico side. You can find cruise that stops at nearly every possible port or only at a select few. Some cruise itineraries may offer an extended stay in port that allows you to explore the countryside.

But are Mexico cruises all fun in the sun? That answer is a qualified yes - as long as you do your homework.

The first thing to do is comparison shop. There are several major and a few small cruise lines that offer Mexico cruises. But, do any of them offer airfare included in the price? How many days and nights are the trips? Where exactly do they go?

cancun-mexico-beach

Your quest for Mexico cruises will require research. Try http://www.mexico-si.com if you’re booking yourself online. Think ahead, do you need a passport, birth certificate or just a driver’s license? Laws governing this type of question have changed significantly in the last few years, so be sure to understand the ins and outs before leaving home turf.

When you do make port, Mexico cruises generally arrive in the early hours of the morning and leave sometime before midnight. Plan your on-shore adventures early, understanding that it may take a few hours to disembark all the passengers leaving the ship to explore.

If you’ve decided that going ashore is a good idea, you may want to walk on the beach or shop and sightsee. Many Mexico cruises offer special land attractions, like horseback riding, riverboat tours through the jungle and exploration of Mayan pyramids.

Some of the Mexico cruises offer packages that give you more time in port to explore the cities, the culture and the ruins that are testament to Mexico’s rich history. The opportunity to see something left by ancient civilizations definitely gives you something to write home about.

Perhaps you’re more interested in the ship’s amenities. Mexico cruises offer a variety of activities, dependent upon the package and the cruise line. Some activities that you may find are gambling, swimming, dancing, organized games, and lavish Vegas-style shows. Some lines are kid-friendly and offer opportunities for mom and dad to have some time alone.

Of course, don’t forget the food, both on the ship and off. You will have the chance to sample a wide variety of food that is native to Mexico and/or considered haute cuisine. Like most cruises, Mexico cruises offer an abundance of delicious dining. There is one warning….

Watch out for Montezuma’s Revenge. While the ship’s water should be fine, it is a good idea to drink only bottled water, especially when you’re ashore. All water has bacteria, and you don’t want to learn that you’re sensitive to the local strains of bacteria in the middle of your cruise. Be careful and none of your potentially many Mexico cruises will be ruined with an upset tummy. It will be all fun in the sun!

You’ve worked hard all year and you finally have time to rest. Treat yourself to a piece of paradise by going on a trip to the Caribbean! Snorkel, go boating, hike, or just relax in the sprawling beaches - you can do absolutely anything you want.

The Caribbean has been a favorite vacation spot of tourists from the world over. In fact, millions of people visit the islands from the United States alone. The charm of the Caribbean lies not just on its beautiful beaches and romantic sunsets - it also has a rich history and a colorful culture that truly makes it addictive.

Also known as the West Indies, the Caribbean group of islands is actually located in the perimeter of the Caribbean Sea, very near the South American countries of Mexico and Venezuela. The Caribbean is composed of about 7,000 islands, each differing in size. The islands are grouped into the Greater Antilles, Lesser Antilles, and the Bahamas.

Christopher Columbus discovered the Caribbean centuries ago by accident, as he was trying to reach Southeast Asia (that’s how the Caribbean got its West Indies name). It was then occupied by an Amerindian group called the “Carib”; this the name “Caribbean.” The region was once very famous for its legendary sea pirates.

Now, most of the different Caribbean islands belong to the independent South American countries, but some are still part of the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, or the United States.

Caribbean hotels and resorts are usually fully booked during peak season, so it is advisable to take care of your accommodations at least three months in advance. If you want more privacy, visit the less popular islands that offer the same first-rate accommodations. It’s not a good idea to visit the Caribbean from April to December, though, as these are hurricane months. If you still want to go during this period, always check for weather updates.
